Habitat

The Flying Space Turtle lives in a climate, kind of like Michigan where it is cold 6 months of the year and warm the other 6 months. In the warm season, also known as Fervens (Fur-Vens), the days are very long and hot. In Gelu (Guh-Loo), the days are very short, only having about 4 hours of daylight, and about 20 hours of darkness. Most FSTs are nocturnal, so they can find food at night in Gelu.

In Fervens, there is a good amount of food for the FSTs that live on the planet of Turtleville. In the passtime between Fervens and Gelu, FSTs search for enough food to last the cold hard Gelu. When they find the extra food, they bury it with their sharps claws under their burrow, or cave. The claws they have can cut through the rock to make a small cave big enough only for themselves. When the cave is being dug, if any other Flying Space Turtles land on Turtleville, they can dig a cave next to the first one.

Diet

Flying Space Turtles eat mostly spacebugs, but occasionally they will eat spacefruits. The most common spacebug that FSTs eat is the spaceworm. Spaceworms glow in the nighttime, so they are relatively easy to catch for the speedy FSTs. Spaceworms are a neon green color. Another spacebug that FSTs eat is the Northern Space Beetle. The Northern Space Beetle is a very slow bug that just about sits around all day.
